By pooling our resources we are able, as an association to have a deeper and longer impact in our giving back to our host community in Morocco.

The BBA supports La Maison Espoir, founded in 1995, which provides care for newborns and children with disabilities and special needs.

The BBA Morocco sponsors the physiotherapy department for the orphanage which espeacially benefits the special needs children.  You can contact La Maiason espoir by email: info@enfance-espoir-maroc.org

Education For All Morocco is an NGO founded by Mike McHugo OBE, a founding member of our association.

EFA Morocco builds and runs girls’ boarding houses near secondary schools in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains, thus enabling girls from rural families to continue their education.

EFA's first project opened in 2007 with a house for 37 girls.  In 2017 EFA opened its 5th house bringing the charity's total capacity to 187 places for girls to be able to continue their education.

The BBA Morocco supports EFA by providing school books for the libraries in each of their houses.

Other members of our association equally involved in giving back to the Moroccan community are Mike and Lucie Wood who founded the Henna Café Cultural Foundation, which provides a space to not only enjoy food, henna and art, but also uses it's income to provide free education and assistance to the people of the Medina.  Mike and Lucie also launched the World Storytelling Café in 2020.

Colin Bosworth, another BBA member, was behind the Help the Medina Hungry initiative which helped people in Marrakech during the Covid-19 crisis by providing free food parcels to families in the Medina.
